High-security Seal is Forced into Use
- Europe&Mediterraneans: The small export volume hasn't affected the rates so much. But it's the lowest level comparing with the past.
- Japan: The rates will be increased much in the next week.
- MAERSK will integrate their service between Asia and Australia. They are going to combine 3 lanes into 1 lane. It's estimated that the new service lane will start from the east coast of Australia and call Japan, Korea, North China, South China, Taiwan, east coast of Australia, west coast of Australia, Southeast Asia, west coast of Australia, east coast of Australia ports in turn, and the vessel will call Japan ports at last. But the exact routing hasn't been announced.
- WANHAI will launch new service of Gulf-Pakistan together with Simatech.
- The USA customs will force high-security seal into use for all the containers to USA from Oct. 15.
- CSAV is still reducing their rates for Southeast Asia.
- North America: It seems the new tax-refund policy hasn't worked for the export volume so far.
