The Market Status for Europe and Mediterraneans is still Depressing
- Europe & Mediterraneans: The rates are still going down. Some carriers are changing their offer frequently. The chaos of market rates will be going on for a while.
- North America: Some carriers reduced the rates for USWC again.
- Middle East and ISC area: NORASIA launched service from Xiamen via Port Klang to Middle East and ISC area since Oct. 21. PIL will lauch their direct service to Red Sea from Oct. 30. The frequency will be every Thu. The T/T for Aden is 15 days, for Jeddah is 18 days and for Sokhna is 20 days.
- Southeast Asia: The rates are stable. The reefer container volume is going up.
- Oceania: PSS at USD200-250/TEU is implemented since Oct. 15.
