Market Situation is Stable Except Southeast Asia
- Southeast Asia: the export volume keeps increasing. The space is very tight, especially for Bangkok, Port Kelang and Manila. It's said that the rates will be increased again by USD20-30 per TEU after May 15.
- Middle East and Red Sea: market rates keep stable. But a little carriers like OOCL and PIL reduced their rates.
- Europe and Mediterraneans: Plenty of space causes some carriers reducing their rates. CSCL and IRISL reduced their rates between USD25 to USD50 per TEU. But the rates for Black Sea just increased by about USD50-100 per TEU.
- Oceania: most of the carriers changed nothing on the rates. Only Hyundai and PIL reduced a little.
- Africa: the rates remain the same as last week.
- North America: due to the cut down of transportation capability, carriers are setting new rates level according to the market situation. The rates were inceased a lot.
- Caribbean Sea and Latin America: plenty of space. The rates haven't changed comparing with in last week.
