Carriers are Reducing Rates for Middle East

  1. Southeast Asia: Most of the carriers increased the rates by USD20/30 from Aug. 15.
  2. Middle East: Carriers reduced the rates by about USD50/TEU resulted from the Month of Fast for Muslim.
  3. Europe&Mediterraneans: Plenty of space. The basic ocean freight rates are being reduced continuously.
  4. Oceania: The export volume is stable. HYUNDAI increased BAF by USD50/TEU from Aug. 8.
  5. Africa: HPL began to accept heavy duty cargo for 20'GP. The maximum weight could be 27 tons. But OWS of USD150 is necessary.
  6. North America: The rates will remain unchanged temporarily. PSS will be postponed to Sep.
  7. Middle&South America: Rates remain the same as before.
