Volume for Southeast Aisa is still Growing
- Southeast Asia: the export volume is still growing. Carriers are short of space and containers, especially for Bangkok, Port Klang and Manila. And almost all the carriers increase the rates by USD30/50 per 20'/40' in June.
- Middle East and Red Sea: some carriers begin to increase the rates. OOCL and PIL have increased BAF USD26/52 per 20’/40’. HYUNDAI increased BAF USD40/80 for Middle East and GRI USD 150/300 for Red Sea.
- Europe and Mediterraneans: plenty of space available. From June 1, HYUNDAI increased PSS USD 158/315 for Black Sea. Maersk increased PSS USD 158/316 for Black Sea and Turkey. Other carriers haven't changed their rates. For Europe, BAF is USD556/1112;for western Mediterraneans, BAF is adjusted to USD546/1092. And CAF will be adjusted to 18.2%.
- Oceania: most of the carriers reduced the ocean freight, such as EMC, PIL and HYUNDAI reduced the rates by about USD50/100.
- Africa: MAERSK reduced the rates by USD100/200 for southern Africa, but increased USD30/60 for western Africa and USD 30/60 for eastern Africa. PIL increased USD50/100.
- North America: The O/F for the first vessel of June will be same as last week but BAF USD 20/30 will bee added.
- Caribbean Sea and Latin America: GRI at USD150/300 will be applied in June.
